In design · an AI-assisted CV editor
Turn the CV you have into the one this job is asking for.
We're designing CV Makeover for job seekers who send one generic CV everywhere. The idea: add your CV and the job ad, see which requirements your CV doesn't show yet, and rewrite it line by line. You approve every change, and it stays in your own words.
From the job ad
- Vendor management
- Scheduling
- Budget tracking
- Process improvement
Requirements your CV shows
2 of 4 · two to add
Your CV · Experience
Current line: Responsible for ordering office supplies.
Suggested rewrite: Managed supplies across 3 vendors and cut the monthly spend by [how much?]
Who it's for
People applying for jobs who know their CV is underselling them but don't have hours to rewrite it for every application.
Applying widely
You're sending ten applications a week and each role asks for something a little different.
Changing direction
Your experience fits the new field, but your CV still speaks the language of the old one.
Coming back or starting out
After a career break, or with your first real job ahead of you, you're not sure what to put first.
The promise we're testing
A CV tailored to one specific job in about fifteen minutes, without inventing anything about you.
That's the target for the first version. We're collecting interest before we build it, so it's a goal, not a measured result.
How it would work
Add your CV
Upload the CV you already have, or paste its text.
Paste the job ad
The editor pulls out the skills and duties the employer lists and checks which of them your CV shows.
Review each suggestion
Rewrites come one line at a time, each with the reason for the change. Accept, edit or skip it.
Download and apply
Export a clean, plain layout that recruiters and application systems can read, and keep one version per application.
What we plan to build first
None of this exists yet. Waitlist members will help us decide what comes first.
Gap check
See which of the job's requirements your CV covers, and which it doesn't mention yet.
Stronger bullet points
Duties rewritten as achievements, with prompts for the numbers that make them believable.
Your facts only
Suggestions rephrase what you've written. Missing details are asked for, never invented.
One CV per application
Keep a tailored copy for each role and remember which version you sent where.
Readable by software
A single-column layout with standard headings that application tracking systems can parse.
Private by design
Your CV is used to make your suggestions, not to train models or build profiles.
Questions
Can I use CV Makeover today?
Not yet. We're checking whether enough job seekers want it before building it. This page and the waitlist are all there is so far.
Will it write things about me that aren't true?
It shouldn't, and that's a rule we're designing around: the editor only rephrases and reorders what you give it, and asks when a line needs a fact it doesn't have.
How much will it cost?
We haven't set a price. Waitlist members will get the early version free while we learn what's useful.
What do you do with my email?
We use it to tell you when the early version is ready, and for nothing else. Reply to any email to be removed.
